If you are a spiritual person, you will be pleased to know that the Buddhist circuit tour is basically a spiritual journey for Buddhists. In this tour, we will take you to the famous Buddhist sites of India, including Kapilvastu, Kushinagar, Lumbini, Balrampur, Sravasti and Lucknow. This tour covers the destinations that are a witness to the major events that happened in Lord Buddha’s life.

Itinerary
- Day 1 : Arrival In Delhi
When you arrive at the New Delhi airport, our representative will greet you and help you to check-in at the hotel. Stay overnight.
- Day 2 : New Delhi
After having breakfast in the morning, you will begin with the Delhi tour. This includes the famous places of Old and New Delhi, including India Gate, Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat and Gandhiji’s memorial. Return to hotel and stay overnight.
- Day 3 : New Delhi - Jaipur
In the noon, get ready to visit the monkey temple, also called Galta Ji. It is a beautiful complex of many temples built on a lakeside near Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh. Galta Ji is very popular for its natural water fountains. Famous for its beautiful lush surroundings, Galta ji is Hindu’s worship place. It attracts a great number of tourists. Galta ji is situated on a higher rise; it presents an awe-inspiring environment. After this, walk around the local market and return to the hotel. Stay overnight.
- Day 4 : Jaipur
Post breakfast, your 4th day of Buddhist circuit tour takes you to the Jaipur sightseeing, starting with the Amber fort. Enjoy an elephant ride. After this, navigate through the stunning popular places of the Pink City, like Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. Jantar Mantar is a great compilation of 19 astronomical instruments. Hawa Mahal is beautifully adorned with 953 windows. Walk around the busy markets. Stay overnight.
- Day 5 : Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
After having breakfast, get ready to proceed towards Agra by the road. Halt at Fatehpur Sikri on the way. It is a World Heritage site by UNESCO made by Akbar as the Mughal Empire capital. The city has many popular ancient monuments. After exploring all these, we will resume the journey to Agra. Once you reached Agra, check-in and stay overnight.
- Day 6 : Agra - New Delhi
Wake up early and do not miss the sublime sunrise view of the Taj (Friday Closed). After this, you will visit the tomb of Itimad-ud- Daulah and Agra Fort. Itimad-ud-Daulah Tomb, also called baby Taj, presents a beautiful sight. Agra Fort is a historic fort that was the main residence of Mughal dynasty emperors. In the afternoon, get back to New Delhi and check into the hotel to stay overnight.
- Day 7 : New Delhi - Varanasi
Post breakfast, move towards New Delhi domestic airport to board the Varanasi flight. Once reached Varanasi, check into the hotel. Do not forget to attend the Ganga Arti at 5 pm in the evening. Stay overnight at the hotel.
- Day 8 : Varanasi
In the early morning, enjoy a boat ride in the Ganga River. After having breakfast, it is time to visit the magnificent Varanasi temples, including the Vishwanath temple and Bharat Mata temple. Return to hotel and stay overnight.
- Day 9 : Varanasi - Bodhgaya
After having breakfast, move towards Bodhgaya by the road. Once reached, check into the hotel. Begin the Bodhgaya sightseeing tour that includes Nalanda, Rajgir, Saptapari cave and Venevamas. Rajgir is the site where Lord Buddha spent twelve years after the achievement of Nirvana state. Nalanda is amongst the greatest ancient universities of India. Return to hotel and stay overnight.
- Day 10 : Bodhgaya - Vaishali - Kushinagar
Your 10th day will start with a Vaishali visit. Vaishali is a famous Buddhist place where Lord Buddha attained Parinirvana and conveyed his final sermon. After that, move ahead to explore important landmarks, including Ashok Pillar, Chaumukhi and Lotus Tank. Thereafter, move towards Kushinagar to stay overnight.
- Day 11 : Kushinagar - Lumbini
After having breakfast in the morning, start your Kushinagar sightseeing tour that covers the Mahaparinirvana temple. After that, you will visit the SriLankan and Japanese Buddhist monasteries to know more about Buddhism. After that, get back to the hotel and stay overnight.
- Day 12 : Lumbini - Kapilvastu - Sravasti - Balrampur
After having breakfast, get ready to visit the Ashoka Pillar. It is a memorial monument constructed by Ashoka in the birthplace of Buddha, Lumbini. After that, get ahead to the Mayadevi temple. Afternoon drive to Balrampur. Halt at Sravasti on the route. Sravasti is an old town all bounded by ruins. Explore the Jetavana Monastery. After that, move to Balrampur. Once reached, check into the hotel and stay overnight.
- Day 13 : Balrampur - Lucknow
After having breakfast, start your Balrampur sightseeing journey. After that, move to Lucknow by road. Once reached, check into the hotel to stay overnight.
- Day 14 : Lucknow - New Delhi
After that breakfast in the morning, start the Lucknow tour. You will start with visiting Bara Imambara, a pillarless architecture and Central Hall, the largest arched room in the world. After that, you will explore the magnificent Awadh architecture, Rumi Darwaza. Move to the domestic airport to board the Delhi flight in the evening. Once reached, check into the hotel to stay overnight.
- Day 15 : New Delhi - Departure
Wake up early in the morning and get ahead to the international airport to board the flight for your home destination.
