Itinerary
- Day 1 : Arrival Jorhat - Dimapur
When you arrive at Jorhat Airport, our representative will greet you and assist you to move towards Dimapur by car (4 hours/ 160 km). Overnight stay in the hotel.
- Day 2 : Dimapur - Kohima
After having a delicious breakfast, move to Kohima by car. (3 hours/ 80 km). In the afternoon, you will explore the war memorial. Overnight stay in the hotel.
- Day 3 : Kohima - Dzulake - Khonoma Village - Kohima
After having breakfast in the morning, get ready for a full day trip of Dzulakie (40 km) and Khonoma Village (20 km). Overnight stay in the hotel of Kohima.
- Day 4 : Kohima - Wokha
Post breakfast, depart to Wokha by road (4 hours/ 80 km). Wokha is recognised for its hilltop villages. Longzu, meant Monolithis, was built by the royal people to brag their status. Overnight stay in the tourist lodge in Wokha.
- Day 5 : Wokha - Mokokchong
Post breakfast, move towards Mokokchong by road. The home of Ao Naga, Mokokchong is an amazing destination for the people who take interest in culture and traditions. Overnight stay in the hotel of Mokochong.
- Day 6 : Mokokchong
Your 6th day of Assam Nagaland Tour will get you explore the traditions of tribal people and meeting them. Overnight stay in the hotel of Mokokchong.
- Day 7 : Mokokchong - Tuensang
After having breakfast, drive to Tuensange, home to Khiamungans, Yimchungers, Semas, Changs, PhomsNagas and Sangtams. Stay overnight in the hotel at Tuensang.
- Day 8 : Tuensang - Mon
After having breakfast, depart to Mon by road(around 8 hours/ 150 km), the home Konyak tribe. Konyak people are renowned for their superb craftsmanship. You can purchase exceptional wood carvings and machete. Overnight stay.
- Day 9 : Mon - Jorhat
Post breakfast, move towards Jorhat by road. Overnight stay in Chung hotel/Bungalow.
- Day 10 : Kaziranga
In the morning, get ahead to the Brahmaputra River and enjoy a ferry ride to visit the Majuli Island. Get back to Jorhat ghat in the evening and move towards Kaziranga (2.5 hours/110 km). Overnight stay.
- Day 11 : Kaziranga
In the early morning, get ready to enjoy the elephant ride. Thereafter, you will enjoy the jeep safari. Overnight stay.
- Day 12 : Kaziranga - Guwahati
Have a scrumptious breakfast, you will move towards the Guwahati airport by car(5.5 hours/ 250 km) to board the flight for home destination.
