    Arrive at Ahmedabad - Arrival assistance at Ahmedabad International airport - Check in at Hotel - Briefing about entire program by representative/tour guide - Rest:After being arrived at Ahmedabad International Airport and clearing all customs and immigrations, you will meet our company representative who will be waiting at the airport with transport. Check-in at the hotel and relax for some time. You will meet your guide after a while for program details with intro to the Gujarat culture, wildlife, textile history and rich craft. We will provide currency exchange if required. Stay overnight in the hotel at Ahmedabad.

    Ahmedabad. Breakfast at Hotel - Visit Sidi Saiyid’s Mosque and a city walk - Visit Gandhi Ashram and Adalaj Stepwell: Post breakfast, get ahead for the tuktuk ride in Ahmedabad recognized as a world heritage city by UNESCO. Indo-Islamic edifices built in the Mediaval Period boost the magnificence of Ahmedabad. These buildings also illustrate a unique amalgamation of Jain, Hindu and Islamic art elements. Around 700 neighbourhoods called as pols formulate this old city. Pol is basically a dense group of multi-storeyed houses built keeping in mind the privacy, security, community and minimizing the effect of harsh sunlight. Have a delectable lunch and get ready to explore the Sabarmati Ashram and get to know the life and principles of Mahatma Gandhi and his role in Independence movement. As you might know, he led the Independence movement from Sabarmati Ashram. Even today, the followers of Mahatma Gandhi get inspiration from Sabarmati Ashram to follow his footsteps of democracy, truth and self-dependence. There is a museum run by the Ashram dedicated to his ideals and encourages the movement of Khadi cotton. After that, you will visit the monument of 15th century named Adalaj Stepwell that talks about water architecture. Beautifully made in sandstone, Adalaj stepwell is famous for intricate carvings in 5 storeys, spacious oriel windows. Stay overnight.

    Breakfast at Hotel - Visit Huteesinh Jain Temple - Drive to Araavali Hills - Check in and rest: Have a relaxed breakfast. After breakfast, you will visit a renowned Jain monument, Huteesingh Jain Temple that was built to help the people in the time of drought. This monument seems like talking about Jainism and its preaching. It is popular for the stone screens, the ornate pillars of temple, the deities and the inlay work. After having lunch, leave for Palanpur (3.5 hours drive). Check in the hotel and rest. Palanpur is a beautiful home to many rural communities and tribes. Palanpur is the oldest mountain range situated in the centre of the Araavali hills. Bhakhar, Mountain God is worshipped by the people of Palanpur. Stay overnight.

    Begin your day with a scrumptious breakfast. Mountains and goddesses are worshipped by the Garasia and Bhil tribals. Unique religious beliefs are followed by them. They offer clay horses as a vehicle of their prayers and wishes to god. In north Gujarat, Rabari community is semi nomadic. You can walk around the nearby villages to know about the culture of these communities. You will find poultry, eclectic items in their markets. If you wish, you can visit their temple to get knowledge about their beliefs, customs totem horses. After dinner, you may enjoy the Garasia dance. Stay overnight.

    Breakfast at Hotel - Drive to Little Rann of Kutch - Visit Queen’s Stepwells and Patola weaving at Patan - Visit to Modhera sun temple:After having breakfast, check out from the hotel and leave for Little Rann of Kutch. On the way, you will visit a UNESCO world heritage city, Patan Stepwell. It is known for its exquisite carvings and architecture by Solanki architecture in the 11th century. This unique monument is marvelously decorated with dancers, deities and celestial beings. It was used to fetch water and as an inverted temple. The former Patan kings were patrons of art and craft. Then, Patan became popular for its intricate weft and warp work of Patola sarees. Patola sarees are renowned for intricate artwork all over the world. Have a delicious lunch at Patan. After lunch, explore the 11th century Modhera Sun Temple. It is beautifully adorned in maragurjara architecture. You will find the beautiful mythological gods, human figurines and dancers carved in the entire temple. After this, move to Dasada hotel and relax. Overnight stay.

    Breakfast at Hotel - Wildlife Safari in Little Rann of Kutch - Visit to village on camel cart - Folk dance of Mir tribe: After having breakfast, get ready to enjoy a wildlife safari. Indian Wild Ass or Khur has this last refuge in the form of sanctuary. Hoards of many migratory birds like pelicans, greater and lesser flamingo, ducks use the sanctuary wetlands as the wintering ground. In the sanctuary, you will visit salt pan workers that produce around 65% part of Indian salt. In the evening, enjoy the camel ride to look around the village area. There are nomadic tribes that do beautiful embroidery and bead work. Get to know their lifestyle. After having dinner, you may accompany the nomadic Mir community in folk dance. Stay overnight.

    Breakfast at Hotel - Drive to Bhuj - Meet the Block printers and Weavers - Visit to LLDC museum:Have a delectable breakfast in the hotel and leave for Bhuj. You will arrive Bhuj by the lunch time and check in the hotel. Get ready to visit Ajrakhpur. Ajrakh is the name of a particular Rajasthani block printing work. Generally, naturally dyes especially madder and Indigo are used for Ajrakh work on silk and cotton. Khatri community makes this printing in red and blue colours in complex floral and geometric patterns. You will also get an opportunity to meet Bhojudi weavers and their traditions and weaving processes. Also, explore the living and learning design centre where Kutch communities will amaze you with folk art and craft. Stay overnight at Bhuj.

    Breakfast at Hotel - Visit Aina Mahal and Prag Mahal - Visit Potters community - Visit antique shop:Have your breakfast and get ready for Bhuj trip. Visit Prag Mahal, and Aina Mahal. The amazing Aina Mahal was built in 1752. It is well-known for its European style mirrored interior. The sparkling chandeliers and stain glass enhance the palace beauty. Prag Mahal was built in 19th century after the name of Rao Pragmalji. Known for its indosaracenic architecture and Italian marble craftsmenship. You will be surprised to see the amazing jail work on Corinthian pillars. After that, you will visit the Khavda village where you will get to know the lifestyle and art of potters’ community. The Kutch potters are famous for their intricate clay designing. Visit Mr Wazir at textiles to know about the origin and history of various embroideries. Stay overnight at Bhuj.

    Breakfast at Hotel - Meet weavers and rabari embroiderers - Meet artisans and see rogan work, lacquer work and copper bell work - Visit the picturesque white Rann (salt flatlands): After having breakfast, you will visit Sumrasar to know about the weaver community and their traditions. You will be surprised to know that each weaver has his own unique style and material to make shawls and scarves. Also, check the embroidery of Rabari women. These women roam with their cattle. They are famous for their intricate embroidery. After lunch, leave for Nirona. Get ready to know about Rogan art and meet Rogan artisans. In Rogan, vegetable colours and castor oil are mixed and heated, then, this paste is used on fabric. Also, meet the Nirona family and luhar community. After that, for a beautiful sunset view, explore the white desert created by salt crystals deposition. Stay overnight at Bhuj.

  • Day 10 : Bhuj - Mumbai (Flight)

    Wake up eary in the morning to board the flight to Mumbai. Check in the hotel and have lunch. Visit Dharavi, the largest slum of Asia. It is a place for leather products and cheap housing. You will find various small scale industries including papad-making, pottery, embroidery and soap making that give 600 million dollar turnover to Dharavi. These businesses are generally carried out in the hotels. After that, during the dusk time, you will have a mesmerizing view of the Marine drive and Queen’s Necklace. Drive to have a view of gateway of India. Stay overnight in Mumbai.

  • Day 11 : Mumbai Elephanta Caves

    After having breakfast, a tour of Mumbai will start. Mumbai is believed to be the city of dreams. The lifestyle of Mumbaikars is so fast that sometimes, it becomes difficult for the newcomers to cope up with that. Mumbai sightseeing tour proceeds to the Elephanta caves. These caves are located on an island around 10km away from Mumbai shores. The temples are carved in these caves. The major attraction is Trimurti, Lord Shiva’s three- headed bust. After that, visit Gateway of India, Rajabai clock tower, Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and High Court. After all this, return to the hotel and stay overnight. Next morning, visit Dhobi Ghaat- a place where washermen do laundry service. Return to the hotel late evening and stay overnight.
