Itinerary
- Day 1 : Arrival In Delhi
The 14 days of Wildlife and cultural tour starts with reaching the New Delhi International Airport. Here, you will be received by your guide, who will take you with utmost care to the pre-decided hotel. Check into the hotel and relax. You can walk around leisurely in the evening.
- Day 2 : New Delhi
After having your breakfast, we will take you on a Delhi sightseeing tour. Explore the cremation place of Mahatma Gandhi, Raj Ghat and the cremation place of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, Shanti Vana, Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk. Also, you will get to explore India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple and Qutub Minar (named after Qutub-id-Din Aibek, who formed it in 1199). Also, drive past the parliament house, President House, Government secretariat buildings and Palika bazaar. Stay overnight.
- Day 3 : New Delhi - Jabalpur
Wake up early and finish your breakfast in the morning. Drive to Jabalpur, an ancient city situated on the Narmada river’s shore. Jabalpur is home to beautiful surroundings. You will also explore Bandhavgarh National Park and Kanha National Park, which are amongst the most visited sites near Jabalpur. Once you reach Jabalpur, our representative will help you to get shifted into the hotel. Stay overnight.
- Day 4 : Jabalpur - Kanha
After finishing the delicious breakfast, your 4th day of this fantastic tour is booked to move towards Kanha national park, which will take about 3 hours 20 minutes. Once reached, you will enjoy exploring the rare species of flora, fauna and avifauna. Amongst India’s best tiger reserves, Kanha national park boasts of being the largest in central India. The major attraction of this park is Royal Bengal Tigers. There are many unique species for animal lovers, including porcupine, civets, hyena, sambar, blackbucks, rat snakes, wild cats, jackals, foxes, wild dogs, leopards, tigers and many more. You will be charmed by its tranquility and natural beauty. You will also enjoy a jungle safari to explore the unseen variety of wild species and click pictures to make this trip memorable. Move to resort to stay overnight.
- Day 5 : Kanha
Wake up early and move to Kanha national park again after the delicious breakfast. The famous book “Jungle book” written by Rudyard Kipling, was the inspiration behind this park. You will explore a great variety of wildlife species here. The national park boasts of bamboo forests and grassy meadows. The Project Tiger was started in 1974, under which the Kanha Tiger reserve was created. Enjoy the wildlife safari and explore the magnificent surroundings. You will also visit Bamni Dadar or Sunset point in Kanha national park. Retire to the resort and stay overnight.
- Day 6 : Kanha - Bandhavgarh
After breakfast, your 6th day of this trip will take you to Bandhavgarh. By road, you will reach there in 4 hrs and 15 min. Bandhavgarh is a historical place to explore. The most popular tourist attraction in Bandhavgarh is Bandhavgarh National Park, known for housing the endangered tigers' reserve. Once reached, check into the resort/lodge and stay overnight.
- Day 7 : Bandhavgarh
Wake up early morning and get ready for a trip to Bandhavgarh National Park. Situated in Madhya Pradesh, Bandhavgarh National Park covers a 105 km sq area and declared a national park in 1968. Besides Tigers, you will find hundreds of bird species and 80 butterfly species in this park. You can also explore a number of flaura, fauna and avifauna species here. Enjoy the open jeep safari to explore the lifestyle of wildlife. This will undoubtedly be an adventurous and fun journey that you will remember for a long time. Retire to resort or lodge in Bandhavgarh, have dinner and stay overnight.
- Day 8 : Bandhavgarh
Get up early in the morning and move to explore Bandhavgarh National Park more. You can find this park divided into 4 sections, namely Panpatta, Tala, Khitauli and Magadhi. There are mainly tigers in Tala. During the safari ride, you can spot many creatures in the park. Soak yourself in the beautiful surroundings and wildlife. Return to the resort/lodge to stay overnight.
- Day 9 : Bandhavgarh - Khajuraho
Wake up early and finish your delicious breakfast. Today, you will move towards Khajuraho by road, which will take around 5 hours. Khajuraho is amongst India’s most famous towns, situated in the district of Chhatarpur. This city is known for its immaculate beauty, erotic edifices and ancient temple complexes. Tourists all over the world visit this town because of its overwhelming sensuous sculptures and remarkable monuments. This is also listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Once you reached Khajuraho, check into the hotel and relax. Stay overnight.
- Day 10 : Khajuraho
Have your breakfast. The 10th day of your wildlife and cultural tour is scheduled for Khajuraho sightseeing, including the visit of many Hindu Temples. At first, you will visit Devi Jagdamba Temple – a complex of 25 temples, then the Chausath Yogini Temple- the most ancient temple of this town and later, get ready to visit the magnificent shrine- Lakshamana temple, which is one of the largest temples devoted to Lord Vishnu. You will be awestruck by the elaborate stone carvings. Historians hint that these monuments were founded in Chandela Dynasty 950-1050CE. Retire to your hotel room and stay overnight.
- Day 11 : Khajuraho - Gwalior
Wake up early and have an energising breakfast. Drive to Gwalior, one of the most popular historical cities of India. This city was founded by Suraj Sen that dates us back to the 13th century. The beautiful town is surrounded by hills and boasts of glorious temples and palaces. Many popular areas of Gwalior including Morarsubcity, City center, are sharing shoulders with other metro cities. On the way, you will enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Once reached, check into the hotel and relax. Get ready to explore Gwalior fort. The fort shows an incredible amalgamation of Indian and Chinese architecture. The fort is preserved with a defensive structure and there are two significant palaces Gujari Mahal and Man Mandir formed by Man Singh Tomar. Retire to the hotel and enjoy dinner. Stay overnight.
- Day 12 : Gwalior - Agra
After breakfast, the 12th day of Wildlife & Cultural tour is scheduled for Agra trip. Check out and drive to Agra. Positioned on the banks of Yamuna River, Agra is the home to one of the World’s seven wonders, Taj Mahal and several other architectures built by Mughal Dynasty. Reaching Agra by road will take around 3 hrs. Check into the hotel and enjoy walking around. Stay overnight.
- Day 13 : Agra - New Delhi
Have your breakfast, visit the world’s most beautiful tomb and undoubtedly, a symbol of love, Taj Mahal. Whenever we hear the name “Agra”, instantly the image of Taj Mahal strikes in our minds. Built in 1652 by Shah Jahan, a Mughal emperor in the memories of Mumtaz Mahal, his wife, Taj Mahal offers a pleasant sight for your eyes. It took approx. 22 years to build this palace by the best artisans of that time. Made of white marble and precious stones, it has the cenotaphs of Shah Jahan and his wife. After that, explore Red Fort, which is a short distance from Taj Mahal, and presents an excellent example of civil construction. There is also an imposing red sandstone fortress on Yamuna river banks. The huge double walls have a circumference of 2.5km and are 20m high. There is a jumble of gardens and rooms, mosques and magnificent halls that form this city. Regrettably, not all visitors can visit all of these buildings, including Pearl Mosque, known as one of the most beautiful Indian mosques. Mughal Dynasty manufactured Agra Fort as the primary residence of their emperors. Move towards New Delhi and stay overnight at a hotel in Delhi.
- Day 14 : New Delhi Departure
Depart for New Delhi International airport to board the flight for home destination. This marks the end of a fantastic trip.
